At Laredo Housing Authority, we strive to create community living through affordable housing opportunities. It is through the diligent work of staff and community partners that we are able to continue the work LHA has done in the community since 1939. LHA owns and manages 700 safe, decent, and affordable Public Housing units in 10 locations and administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program for over 1,500 families in the private housing sector in Laredo, Zapata, and Asherton. Through supportive services and self-sufficiency classes, LHA fortifies residents’ knowledge and skills necessary to improve their quality of life. By serving and collaborating, we are empowering.
